Mooooo!
You know you are a parent in Oklahoma when you count the Little Tykes cow flashlight among the "good flashlights" for your severe weather emergency kit!!

Welcome Baby Ellis!!
OK, apparently I am not tech savvy enough to upload a pic from a shutterfly bundle and post to our site. Wish I could 'cause he's a cutie!
Congrats to Monique and Jules (and big brother Darby) who delivered Ellis Jules Hoffmeister on 4-21-09 at 7:53am, 7 pounds 5 oz . 18 3/4 inches. I feel so blessed to have another godchild!! Pics will come later when I see him in person!

Two or Four?
Car seats, that is...
This post is a poll for people with more than one car seat-riding child in the family. We have been "thrifty" and did not want to purchase two sets of car seats, one for each car. Currently, our only two seats ride in the family wag. Due to inconvenience issues, I think we might have to break down and buy another set for Matt's jeep, with daycare drop off/pick up being the biggest reason.
So what system works for you? Do you have each car outfitted for wee passengers? Any recommendations?

Happy Easter!
Christ the Lord is risen today!
We celebrated a wet Easter Sunday with a great service at church, followed by yummy lunch at our surrogate family the Stelzers, and fun indoor Easter egg hunt and desserts at the gracious Sasha and Mr. Sasha's house. Here are a few photos from the day...
Riding horsies at church
A with a mouth full of mashed potatoes!
Happy to see Mama and Daddy!
Yesterday, the twins had their first Easter Egg Hunt at church and jumped in a bounce house/ ball pit for the first time...and they had a blast with our friend Avery. In typical Jank fashion, we were late and missed the "organized" hunt, so we had our own personal hunt! Thanks to Kristy, Becky, and Gwen for making it special for G&A! As you can see, they had tons of fun!
Almost forgot to post a pic of the gardeners in the family....notice the sprouting and tasty spinach and swiss chard in the background!
