A couple of glimpses of their creativity and "helpfulness" in the past few days...
My little lefty...
Picasso? No, Jankowski...watch for it, they'll be worth millions!
"Helping" to make homemade beer bread (thanks Wally!) with Matt's yummy pumpkin homebrew.
I must end with this story from yesterday....
I guess we're doing something right, though somedays I wonder. Yesterday George was throwing a fit because he wanted me to help him take off his shoes and jacket. He is fully capable of doing both, so with encouraging words to him, I turned my back and proceeded to unload groceries. After 5 minutes of his fit, his sweet sister went to him and in their own words, she offered to help him take off his shoes. She explained each step of the process, using words such as "undo strap" and he then instructed her about pulling off the "heel". They gleefully ran off together and when George noticed Abigail's shoes were still on, he told her "shoes off, I help Tister?". He knelt in front of her and took off her shoes.
I feel so blessed that at 2 1/2, they are already learning servanthood. Praise!!

Can we get in an early order on the art work before it's priced out of our league?:) Enjoyed every picture and the story of the shoes -- too cute. Let me know what you think of the bread. Love yas.
love the shoe story!! That's awesome! Pictures are great, but I would have liked to have seen how messy the painting became....it was way too clean to be at the end of the project!!!! :)
Precious story! Yes, I think they are adorable!
