Getting back into the blog habit...

Yes, it has been since May that I have entered our life into our blog.  Can't let any more memories slip by...
To jog my brain later as I re-live the past few months:

*summer/ VBS/ Morris' OK vacay/ Ranch:
We had a fun and busy summer of 2012. We did not travel much which was unusual for our family, but we stayed close to home and spent time doing fun things in Oklahoma. George & Abigail both participated in McFarlin's VBS and loved the rotational structure. Matt was on the Opening/Closing Team (affectionately referred to as "Dance Team" by Carrie ) and Carrie led the Greeters Team. Love that our family all participates in a fabulous mission to bring children closer to Jesus!

The 3 Morris kids came up together this year over July 4th weekend and we all had a blast!!! From rock climbing to daily snow cones to frolicking in the COLD waters of Sulphur, we loved having them here. We even had a lemonade stand and George & Abigail made $10 each with their cousins' help. George & Abigail idolize their "big cousins!"
We also went on our annual Martin Family weekend at Sand Creek Ranch in Lubbock, TX. They weather was cooler in Lubbock and we even got a little chilly at the pool. BB guns, 4 wheeling, mule riding, and motorcycling were the highlights! Love any time our family gets together!

George & Abigail both played soccer on the Dinosaurs Team with Coach Matt Ottis this fall. George especially loves soccer and played really well...star scorer every game with other coaches complimenting his skills! They both mastered better control of the ball, dribbling, cooperative play with their teammates and aggressive play.
Annual Normandy Park neighborhood Trick-or-Treating with Asher, Cache, & Evangeline! AKA Jessie the Cowgirl, Ironman, Dragon, and Batman.

 Gotta stop at Nana Millie's!
Moving Day, November 15, 2012. Bittersweet day.
All of our belongings in our garage, ready to load. Kinda sobering to see all of our things in one spot.
And then transferred to the new garage....
Day 1: replacing all ceiling fans and painting 3 bedrooms, prior to moving in boxes or furniture.
G&A wanted to be in the same room again at the new house. They were able to choose their new room color: red!! Compromise, one red wall and three coordinating grey walls. Looks great!
We hosted Thanksgiving at our new house 6 days after we closed. Sherry, Doug, Kirby, Evie, Laura, Brad & Mom and Dad. Good motivation to get unpacked!!
More stories and pics to follow!!!
