Post-Ranch
Weekend before last G&A & I went to my sis & BIL's ranch in Lubbock with my bro and other sis & fam. But you'll have to wait for those pics....ohhh suspense!
Had to post this one from last night. Too funny.
They really do love each other. Yes, Grammy, your precious granddaughter is wearing a doo-rag. And no, she would not take it off all night. To date, it is still in her crib as she HAD to sleep with it! And Coll, thanks to you, G's fave words are fire truck and am-lance!
This pic was how G left his "friends" for the night. Funny random things your kids do that make you chuckle. It's okay if no one else finds this amusing.
Keep your fingers crossed that they take a good nap tomorrow so I can catch up on ranch, beer, splash pad, etc.

Here's a glimpse into our July 4th activities...
Daddy and his babies after the Brookhaven parade that we missed...
Georgie and Aboo enjoying their popsicles on a hot July 4th...
Pretty sure she liked it...
My artsy-fartsy side. I was inspired to photograph the normal scenes of life and this caught my eye. I love it.
Typical bathtime. G splashing like crazy and A playing in the water faucet. Too cute.
**edit note: our plans of fireworks on the 4th were rained out...so we enjoyed a nice cozy night at home instead. i think God's trying to tell us something about these "plans" we keep trying to make...maybe "slow down" is His message???

Birth Story goes public!
We feel a slight bit of fame!! Our real-life good friend Sasha from Sasha Says has a good friend who has a fab blog that is linked to the right, Sorta Crunchy. She invited me to guest post about our drug-free twin birth! Read it on today's entry!! Megan's blog is always a great read....thanks for sharing our story!!
p.s. we made it to the Big D on our road trip last night before having to turn around and head home due to diarrhea x 2 and fevers. Matt jokingly said it was a really long trip to the grocery store... at least we got to pick up beer, wine, salsa, and coffee from our fave Central Market. I remarked several times late this week that they were two weeks sickness-free...I even knocked on wood! The kiddos were great considering, and even Boomer was a trooper...
Does anyone else with small children have such difficulties with frequent illness or are we just plagued???
Happy Fourth!!
