Another week goes by!

I've eaten Mexican food, chicken fried steak (my first ever!), and BBQ , waddled around, gone to Target a hundred times, just about jumped up and down hoping gravity would take effect.....our little babies are taking their own sweet time to make their grand entrance (they are definitely Martins because we are late for EVERYTHING!).

The second-to-last purchase we wanted to make was accomplished last night. We bought a double jog stroller from a twin consignment sale so the babies can take part in their daddy's marathon training. Their nursery is 98% done (or as complete as it will be before they arrive), everything is washed, the floors are vacuumed, and our arms are ready for holding babies....now we just need the babies to make our home complete!

So keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we face another week and hope that our precious twins arrive soon!

Car and Matt,
I know the cuties will arrive at just the right moment. I've been praying for you and your families every day. We are in Gruene visiting the newest David sister (Sophie... ADORABLE golden retriever puppy... my parents thought our family wasn't quite big enough...). Drew sends his love as well!

Love,
Amy, Drew, Nally, and the entire David/Oehler clan

Hang in there guys--your sleepless nights are coming soon enough. Pretty soon you'll wonder what you did with so much free time--enjoy it while you have it--the house will never be this quiet again for a long time.
We're thinking all good thoughts for you--
Lots of love,
Lauren, Paul, Halley & Noah

You definitely have more patience and sense than I do, but at the end I couldn't help but wait impatiently for Jake to get here! Now I can say, enjoy this time because as much discomfort as you might be having, they are much easier to take care of when they're on the inside! Give me a call if you want to borrow the Happiest Baby dvd - it probably doesn't have as much info as the book, but it has the advantage of being watchable while you don't have any hands free. I have a feeling you'll be spending a lot of time without free hands very soon!

It grosses me out that you are eating meat!! I hope that doesn't last long. It's definite that you have been in OK too long now. Come back to Austin and they will let you have babies as a vegetarian.
